External stakeholders
In case the external stakeholders (customers, suppliers, local organizations, committees, etc.) intend to signal some preoccupations or to complain about activities or behaviours that potentially do not conform to the Policy for Social Accountability, Environment, Health and Safety in the workplace – applied by Torni Automatici srl or regarding the SA8000 requirements – they are allowed to report it to the Social Performance Team, according to the following procedure:

  • Accessing the company website www.torniautomatici.com
  • Selecting from the main menu the section CERTIFICATIONS
  • Selecting from the menu the section WARNINGS AND COMPLAINTS
  • Completing the prearranged form, also anonymously.

Whether the Management Office considers the warning received to be relevant, the SPT will respond within 30 days from the receipt and will employ potential actions to remedy if any non-conformity – regarding ethics, social accountability, environment or workers’ safety and health – emerges from the complaints.
In case the stakeholders are not satisfied with the reply to a warning or complaint received from the company, they can submit a formal appeal to the Certification Body SA8000 (SGS Italia S.p.A.) or the International Accreditation System (SAI). The appeal must include a documentary proof of the violation of the normative’s requirements. The anonymity of the appelant is always mantained, unless he/she wants his/her identity to be revealed.

Partners – Internal stakeholders
Any warning or complaint to the Management Office can be reported according to the following procedure:

  • Directly to the workers Representatives according to SA8000;
  • Through a prearranged module to insert, also anonymously, in the specific box disposed by the Management Office;
  • Completing the form on the company website, as indicated before;

As previously explained, the SPT will examine the warnings and complaints and will respond within 30 days from the receipt. The SPT will also employ potential actions to remedy if any non-conformity – regarding ethics, social accountability, environment or workers’ safety and health – emerges from the complaints. In case of anonymous reports, the reply from the Management Office will be exposed on the notice board for SA8000. In case the personnel or the Representatives are not satisfied with the reply to a warning or complaint received from the company, they can directly contact the Certification Body SA8000 or the International Accreditation System, to signal potential violations of SA8000 requirements, following the procedure explained above.
