Torni Automatici S.r.l. publishes its 2024 Sustainability Report: continuity, evolution and shared responsibility
Torni Automatici S.r.l. presents its 2024 Sustainability Report, confirming for the second consecutive year its commitment to transparently reporting on its environmental, social and governance performance.
The document serves as a platform for reflection and dialogue with customers, suppliers, partners and stakeholders, through which the company outlines its achievements and future commitments, integrating sustainability into its industrial growth model.
2024 marked a significant milestone in the company’s journey: on the one hand, the consolidation of the corporate structure with the arrival of new partner Roberto Marchiori; on the other, the decision not to formally renew SA8000 certification, moving towards a broader and more integrated form of voluntary reporting through the publication of the Sustainability Report. A decision that represents a strengthening of the commitment to transparency, accountability and ongoing dialogue with stakeholders.
In environmental terms, Torni Automatici has achieved tangible results:
- a 7% reduction in overall energy consumption;
- an 18% reduction in total Scope 1 and 2 emissions (location-based);
- a 26% reduction in water consumption;
- a significant reduction in waste associated with emulsions, thanks to the enhancement of internal recovery systems.
The company also confirms that 100% of its electricity is sourced from renewable energy and continues to invest in more efficient production technologies, such as the new degreasing plant based on modified alcohols.
The 2024 report confirms a business model founded on industrial strength, a focus on the local community and the development of people. Ethics
Torni Automatici srl has been engaged in ethical matter from its beginning. The company obtained Social Accountability Certification in 2007, and manteined it with excellent results for 15 years.
Company’s strategic horizon has always included issues related to Sustainability, as an impulse for the creation of positive economic, social and environmental impact, as well as shared value with its stakeholders.
Clean energy
After the introduction of Kyoto protocol and “emission trading” directive, all European signatory countries, as Italy implemented plans to reduce CO2 emissions. Since 2005, aligned with this commitment, Torni Automatici srl’s using 100% clean energy from renewable sources.
Environment, health and safety
In 2007 Torni Automatici srl has achieved certifications following standards UNI EN ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001, constantly inspecting its and its supplier’s organization.

The Legality Rating is an innovative tool developed by the Competition and Market Authority (AGCM) in agreement with the Ministries of the Interior and of Justice, which recognizes awards to companies that operate according to the principles of legality, transparency and responsibility social: it is a synthetic indicator of compliance with high legal standards, introduced for the first time in the Italian legal system by article 5 ter dl 1/2021, with the aim of introducing and promoting principles of ethical behavior within the company.
